Mrs. Addie Williams was born on June 2, 1924 to Daniel and Hattie Butler.  She was affectionately known as "Ms. Lady". She was educated in the Idabell, Oklahoma School District.

"Ms. Lady"  later moved to  Colorado City, Texas where  she accepted Christ at an early age and worshipped at Mount Zion Baptist Church. She met, then married Jerry Williams Sr. on October 20, 1945 and to this union, 14 children were born.

In her earlier years, she worked as a housekeeper and was a very gifted hair stylist, a skill she shared with her children.

At the age of 95, Mrs. Addie, was graced to see the 5 ^th Generation of her legacy. She enjoyed playing the piano, cooking, singing and as she would say, "doing some hair!"

Mama Addie departed this life on,  Friday, June 21, 2019. She will join her loved ones who preceded her in death, Jerry Williams, Sr.(husband), sons; Jerry Williams, Jr., Sylvester Williams, Larry Williams and daughters; Patricia Cole and Sandra Dixon.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her children: Cora Williams, Melvin Williams, Betty Jones, Billy Williams, Wanda Foreman (Donnie), Shelia Cooks (Tyrone), Mike Williams, Mitchell Williams and Brenda Heckard; forty-three grandchildren; forty-six great grandchildren; Eighteen great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

While we will miss you Mother, you left us many wonderful memories.  You taught all of us life's lessons.  You have been our rock and foundation through many rough days.  You are our best friend, confidant, counselor, supporter and # 1 fan.  Thank you for all the sacrifices you made for us.
