The life of Adolphus Dan Walker, Jr. began on September 11, 1956 in Jacksonville, Texas. He was the third child born to Adolph Dan Walker, Sr. and Maude Walker Lacy.
He attended school in the Jacksonville Independent School district and the Dallas Independent School District. Adolphus was employed by Tuesday Morning and Spirit International as a Forklift Operator until he became disabled.
Adolphus was preceded in death by both his parents; paternal grandparents: Rev. Melvin and Pearline Walker; maternal grandparents: Eugene and Luceal McClelland as well as his infant sister Sandra Kay Walker.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Thomas Walker; mother-in-law Louise Paschall of Garland, TX.; brothers: Bruce Daniel Walker of Jacksonville, TX., James Lary of Garland, TX. And Jamal Bowens (Shay) of Tyler, TX.; sisters: T. Rachell Ekewenugo (Christian Sr.) of Arlington, TX., R. Kaye of Coleman (Bennie) of Palestine, TX., Yvonne D. Scott of Dallas, TX.; brother-in-law: Willie Burgess II (Ellen) and Travis Witherspoon of Garland, TX.; aunts: Allie Scott (Freddie) of Jacksonville, TX., Annie Pearl Bowens (second mother) of Jacksonville, TX., Effie Hawkins of Marshall, TX., Darlene Lewis of Tyler, TX., Vessie Lark of Dallas, TX., Betty Joe Walker of Houston, TX.; uncles: Charles Walker (Hattie) of Dallas, TX., Jerome Walker of South Carolina and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
