IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alan Christopher
Young
November 7, 1965 – October 4, 2024
Alan Young was born on November 4, 1965, the third child of Thomas and Ruthenia Young. He was granted his angel wings on October 4, 2024. Alan was predeceased by his father. Today we have all stopped our regular work to pay tribute to Alan.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. He was a 1984 graduate from Jacksonville High School and earned an Associate Electronic Engineer Degree at Pulaski Tech. He retired from Texas Instruments after 26 years of service as a Manufacturer Specialist. Alan united in marriage to his childhood sweetheart, Anita. He was a faithful member of All Nations Fellowship Church for 14 years under the leadership of Dr. Robert Canady III, Senior Pastor. Alan proudly served in Leadership, Audio and Men of Standard and Premarital Counseling ministries.
He became a part of North Texas Ataxia Support Group and was a member of the National
Ataxia Foundation.
Alan enjoyed playing the piano and was a member of the gospel music group, Image. Alan
loved hunting, all types of music, playing the piano and spending time with family.
Those left to cherish precious memories and legacy include: his loving and devoted wife of 31
years, Anita; mother, Ruthenia Bradley Young of Jacksonville, Arkansas; father, (deceased)
Thomas Earl Young; brothers, Thomas Young (Linda) of Sherwood, Arkansas and Greg Young
(Kim) of Jacksonville, Arkansas; sister, Lisa Young (Ronnie) of Wylie, Texas; brothers in law,
Shelby Thomas (Leigh) of Sherwood, Arkansas and Damon Thomas of Little Rock, Arkansas;
and a host of nieces, nephews, special relatives, friends and loved ones.
To remember the man that Alan was is to remember the hope and positivity he had in any
situation. His kindness, resilience, generosity, and unwavering spirit left an indelible mark on
everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Alan will be deeply missed and forever
remembered.
