Albert Earl Whetstone was born on January 30, 1964, in Garland, Texas, to  Andy C. Whetstone, age 24, and Hazel Mae Dean Sanders, age 21.   Albert accepted Christ at a young age, and his preferred church was Kaiser Street Baptist Church in Garland, TX.

Albert received his formal education in the Garland Independent School District. He began high school at Garland High School before transferring to Lakeview Centennial High School. He played football for both campuses. Albert was a proud graduate of Lakeview Centennial High School Class of 1982.  After completing his education, Albert enlisted in the United States Army.

He married Karen R. Washington in 1984, and they had two daughters - Brandie and LaShelle. Albert's daughters were his pride and joy.

While working at the Richardson Medical Center in 1987, Albert met Marthella Hutchen. They fell in love and stayed together for the remainder of Albert's life. His trade of choice was car-detailing, and he detailed cars for Friendly Detail until his health would no longer allow him to do so.

He was a confident man that kept his chin held high, and he didn't care what anyone said or thought about him.  He had many nicknames, but his favorite was "Stone Cold."  Albert loved and trusted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.  On April 16, 2022, Albert Earl Whetstone passed away due to kidney failure.

He is survived by his Wife, Marthella Diane Hutchen-Whetstone; his Daughter, Brandie Whetstone Parker; his Daughter, LaShelle Whetstone; his Brother Harold Rollins of Henderson, TX; his Nieces, Shambrecia, Candis, and Shaquita Whetstone (Gary). He was preceded in death by his father, Andy Whetstone; his Mother Hazel Whetstone, and his Brother, Gary Whetstone.
