Obituary

Ms. Alberta Williams was born on November 17, 1942 to the late Elnora Givens and George Williams, Sr. in Wisner, Louisiana. She departed this life on October 22, 2018 at Park Manor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Desoto, Texas.
Alberta accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age in Franklin Parish under the leadership of the late Rev. Coldwater.
Preceded her in death are her siblings: Minerva Buie, Louis Buie, Jr. and Carl Buie; aunts: Victoria Grant and Rosie Williams and eight cousins.
She leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her homegoing, her brother George Williams, Jr.; two sons: Louis Williams (Rebecca) and George Jones, Jr. (Spring); two daughters: Sharon Williams-Chase (Don) and Katherine Jones; cousins: Victoria Ford, Willie Williams, and Marie Henderson; nieces: Patricia Buie, Zelda Buie Harrison, Lisa Williams and Linda Williams; nephews: Kenneth Buie and Charles Buie; sister-in-law Dollie Buie; grandchildren: Shakema Brown, Cashunda Williams, Brandon Chase, Dameon Henderson, Jr., Myeshia Coleman, Jaylen Jones, Makenzie Johnson and a host of cousins and other relatives. She also leaves special friends until the end, Mrs. Alice Maxwell and Mae Otis Foggy .
