IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Alexis J.
Tyler
April 13, 2006 – November 23, 2024
An Amazing, Outgoing, Loving, Compassionate and Kind Daughter, Sister, Cousin and Friend
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to be born Ecclesiastes 3:1
Alexis Johniyah Tyler was born on April 13, 2006 to the proud parents Ruth Cole and John Tyler in Garland, Texas. She brought so much joy to her mother, Ruth who nurtured her to be an intelligent, beautiful, honest and independent young lady.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: 1 Corinthians 13:11
Alexis received her education in the Mesquite Independent School District and was a graduate of Mesquite High School's Class of 2024. She was currently enrolled at El Centro College to complete her training in becoming a Medical Assistant. Alexis loved dressing up, bonding and hanging with her siblings & friends, and going to drag races with her family. She had a heart of gold, a great sense of humor and a caring spirit. She brought light and joy to people around her. Alexis loved and trusted the Lord; and had her own personal relationship with Him. She recently started attending Trinity Christian Worship Church in Mesquite, Texas.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. 2 Timothy 4:6
Alexis departed this earthly life and went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 23, 2024. Alexis is now reunited with her grandfather, Mack Buck Cole, Jr.; grandmother, Fannie Mae Tyler; uncles, Andrew Tyler and Billy Cole III of whom greeted her at Heaven's gates.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. John 14:18
Alexis leaves to cherish her beautiful memories: her devoted parents, John Tyler and Ruth Cole; loyal brothers, John "JT" Tyler, Jr., Marquese Davis, and Artavious Hicks; loving sisters, Jayveyana Wilson, Nyasia Reed, Johnniesha Harris and Makayla Harris; grandfather, Charlie Tyler, Jr.; grandmother, Judy Cole; her doggie, Prince (Shiesty) and her Godmothers, Dandrea Williams, Patricia August, and Tammy Lawson (known as her 2nd mother) of whom she loved dearly.
Alexis's memory will forever be cherished by her uncles, Charlie Tyler III (Bobbi), Calvin Tyler (Stephanie), Charles Tyler (Allison), Charles Taylor (Coro), Willie Taylor (Yolanda), Greggory Taylor (Nicole), Mack Buck Cole III, and Eugene Cole; aunts, Patricia Tyler, Susie Tyler-Tucker (Leon), Patricia Taylor, and Deborah Taylor; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
Alexis Johniyah Tyler was a beautiful young woman with so much life ahead of her. She was the best daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, Goddaughter and friend that anyone could ask for. She has received her wings and ascended to a better place - Heaven - where there's joy, peace and love.
Alexis is now our Guardian Angel of whom will be looking over us and waiting for us as well. We will miss her dearly. She will always and forever be in our hearts.
