Alexondra Marie Gotcher-Sledge was born on May 22, 1991, in Dallas, Texas to Charles Gotcher and Sondra Miller-Gotcher. She departed this life on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

Alex received her high school diploma in 2009 from McKinney High School and graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a minor in Religious Studies in 2015.

She utilized her BA in English Literature in creative writing and marketing and was a published author.

Alex was a devoted wife and mother, an avid reader and researcher, an extraordinary writer, a graceful dancer, a fashionista, a music lover, and an amazing cook!

Alex accepted the Lord and was baptized at an early age.

Alex leaves to mourn her passing, her devoted husband Kyle Sledge, her daughter Reagan Marie, her parents Charles and Sondra Gotcher, three sisters, Mattison, Danyela, and Christian, and one brother Cosstyn; two Grandmothers Ada Gotcher and Dollie Foster; three Aunts Tonya (James) Thomas, Tammie Gotcher, and Afra (Kevin) Evans; three Uncles George (Cheryl) Gotcher Jr., Troy (Rachel) Gotcher, and Troy (Tonya) Miller Jr.; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends. Mrs. Gotcher-Sledge was preceded in death by her three Grandfathers, George L. Gotcher, Sr., Troy W. Miller, Sr., Jack D. Foster, and one Aunt Sherry Lindley.
