Alfreda LaQuinn Meeks was born to the parentage of Maggie Peteet and Alfred Bailey on February 10, 1974 in Dallas, Texas.

For many years, Alfreda was employed at the University Of Dallas in the cafeteria. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering spirit.

Alfreda was a beacon of light with a heart of gold. She brought joy, laughter and warmth to everyone she met. She will be remembered for all the heart she shared with her friends and family. She truly loved each of them - and if you knew her, you knew it. She will be forever missed.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Verlena Mae Meeks Jones; and her aunt, Jacqueline Denise Meeks.

Alfreda LaQuinn Meeks is loved and will forever be remembered by her daughter, Satavis Williams; son, Xavier Williams; eight grandchildren; her devoted parents, Maggie Peteet and Alfred Bailey; sisters, Kimberly Humphries and Felicia Jones; brother, Steven Humphries; nieces, Tamera and Norecha; nephew, Kendrick; and a host of relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
