October 6, 1948 – November 24, 2022
Anna Lee Brown Cheadle was born on October 06, 1948 to the
parents of Willie Sr. and Vestana Brown in Dallas, TX. To this
union two children were born.
She was united with Zion Baptist Church at an early age. In her
years of Ministry, God anointed her with several talents. She was
a psalmist, a pianist and God also blessed her to be able to play for
several churches throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
She was an honorary member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church
under Pastor Eric A. Brown until her time of death.
At an early age Anna attended and graduated from Murray State
College in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
On November 25,1967, Anna was united in marriage to Melvin
Gene Cheadle of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
She was a hard dedicated worker who retired after 30 plus years of
service at Kmart. Through all her successes, her greatest
accomplishment was being a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt
and friend.
Both parents preceded her in death. She will also be greeted at the
heavenly gates by her husband Melvin Gene Cheadle and her two
brothers Willie F. Brown, Jr. and Dr. William E. Brown.
She leaves to carry on her legacy, two sons Mallory(Lorena)
Cheadle of Fate, Texas, Aaron (Stephanie) Cheadle Sr. of Aubrey,
Texas, two daughters Shannon Cheadle of Garland, Texas and
Leslie (Ndifreke) Bassey of Rowlett, Texas. Twenty grandchildren
and ten great grandchildren. One sister Mabel Warren of Waco,
Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
