Sis. Annette Musgrove made her peaceful transition from this earthly life to begin a life of eternal happiness and joy, resting peacefully with our Eternal Father and our precious loved ones who have gone before us on September 23rd, 2023. She passed away in Garland, Texas on at the age of 76. Annette was born to the late Ed Lee and Amy Lee on January 2nd, 1947. She attended school at White Oak and continued on Benson High School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Annette met and married Sidney Musgrove after graduating High School. They were married for 56 years; and to this union three children were born: Sidney Jr., Lisa and Ramsey. Annette confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age. As a young girl, she became a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She and Sidney decided to move to Garland, Texas and she moved her membership to First Baptist Church at Hamilton Park. Later in life, she became a member of New Mount Hebron Church in Garland, Texas. Annette had a beautiful singing voice, especially when inspired to praise and worship God. Annette found faith during uncertain times as she put her trust in God. She was a firm believer of Philippians 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me." Her faith made her a resilient woman who faced whatever trials came her way with grace and true inner beauty still intact. She was a dependable and caring and was content in all things. Annette fully embraced both the great joys and deep sorrows along her life's journey, counting them all as part of God's perfect plan for her life. Those who knew Annette will remember her as a beautiful lady with a generous spirit who loved her family and loved to laugh. The memories she leaves behind will be a lasting treasure for generations to come. Annette is preceded in death by her parents Ed and Amy Lee; her son Sidney Musgrove, Jr.; brothers Early B. Lee, Fred Lee, T.C. Lee, B.C. Lee and Earl Theodore Lee; sisters Jimmie D. Wilson, Dorothy Mae Williams, Ethelene Brown, Vaillie Mae Dixon and Thelma Floyd. Annette leaves to cherish her precious memories: her devoted husband Sidney Musgrove; daughter Arlisa Cross; son Ramsey Musgrove; seven grandchildren: Diron Jones Jr., Ayden Musgrove, Cydney Cross, Melvin Cross III, Aaliyah Musgrove, Miles Cross and Kaleb James "KJ" Musgrove; sisters Vernice Roberts and Christine Barnes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
