April was born on October 24, 1981, in Claremore, OK. to the parentage of Robert Eugene Pegg and LaVonda Jane Sexton. She passed on February 11, 2022.

April met and later married Bradley Gajewski on December 30, 2017. She had one son named Jordan Lee Slone, who lives in Pikeville, KY.

Although she may have been small in stature, she has left a void that can never be filled. She loved all sorts of animals but was especially fond of her dogs. She has had a sixth sense and seemed to be a dog whisperer of sorts. She made friends everywhere she went. Everyone that met her was forever changed. She had an uncanny ability to brighten your day. Although she has suffered plenty of hardships personally, she was always smiling, and her happiness was infectious.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bradley Gajewski, father Robert Eugene Pegg, grandparents Wallace & Freda Johnson, uncle Wallace (Buddy) Johnson, grandparents Pete & Alice Pegg, and dogs Sophie and Duke

April is survived by her mother LaVonda Jane Sexton; eldest brother: John Paul Robert Cecil Pegg; John's Wife: Sarah Kathleen Pierce (Pegg); John's Children: Mikayla Cheyenne Pryor, Keyli Elizabeth Pegg, Colin Blake Pegg;  Middle Brother: Jeremy Reed Pegg, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. She also leaves behind her dogs: Boomer and Sadie
