Barbara Dean Williams, age 74, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and devotion
to her family, community, and the Order of the Eastern Star. Barbara was born on May 15, 1951, to the parentage of George and Celia Clark. She was the sister to Bauress "Pic", George "Jr.", and Morris.
Barbara accepted Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. She attended New Home Baptist Church in Irving, Texas under the leadership of Pastor C.D. Shelton.
Barbara grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas in the Dalworth Community and attended Dalworth High School. She was a member of the Dalworth Alumni Association where she served as Vice President. She was employed with Tex Star until she retired.
Barbara was blessed with three children, Richard, Nancy and Anthony. She married the love of her life, Clifford Wayne Williams, and they built a beautiful life together - full of joy, companionship and love. They were happily married until his demise in 2019.
Throughout her life, her active faith sustained her. She was a true pillar of the Dalworth Community. Barbara was known for her warm smile, generous spirit, and dedication to helping others. She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star, serving as Heroines of Jericho- S. A. R. Starks Court No. 208 - Past Most Ancient Matron; Trinity Guild- Past Princess Captain; Zakat Court Daughters of the Imperial Court #133- HPIC; Dalworth Assembly- Member. Royal Matron Barbara Williams also served as Chaplain- Dacia Court #5 Ladies of the Circle of Perfection where she shared her wisdom and friendship with countless sisters. Her commitment to the principles of the Star—faith, love, loyalty, and service was evident in all she did.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, George and Celia Clark; her husband, Clifford Williams; son, Anthony Washington; sister, Bauress Ann
Amons; and brothers, George Clark, Jr. and Morris Clark.
Her legacy will continue through the lives of her children, Nancy Miller (Howard) and Richard Clark; grandchildren, Kedrick Washington and
Antwone Washington; and 5 great-grandchildren, Janiyah Walker, Ke'Andre Washington, Ke'Dren Washington, Ked'Dreaun Washington and Tre'Shaun Washington; lifelong friends, Brenda Thompson and Nancy Cormier; and a host of other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
Those who knew Barbara will remember her smile, laughter, compassion, and strong sense of values. She loved to love and the memories she leaves behind will be a lasting treasure for a lifetime to come. Her legacy of grace and kindness lives on in every heart she touched.
