Mr. Barnett Donese Jones was born January 2, 1955, to the parentage of Mr. Thomas J. Stimpson and Ms. Betty Lou Jones.

As a child, he attended Plano Public Schools, graduating in 1974. He worked as a warehouseman and factory worker.

The Lord called him home on February 2, 2026. Donese was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Lou Jones; his father, Thomas J. Stimpson; and his stepmother, Wilma Stimpson.

Donese leaves to mourn his passing three brothers, Craig Jones, Reginald Stimpson, and Robert Toliver; four sisters, Sheryl Davis, Antonette Jones, Robin Gandy and Gwen Stimpson Williams; two aunts, Eleanor Stimpson Evans and Ethel Gaston; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
