Beulah Mae Hickson, an exceptional woman of God,
passed away on Monday afternoon, November 28, 2022 at
Methodist Dallas Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
Beulah Mae Hickson was born April 29, 1940 to Herbert and
Johnnie Jones in Allen Texas. She was the third of fifteen
children. Beulah received her education from Plano Colored High
School (renamed Douglass High School) in Plano Texas.
Beulah started her faithful worship in Allen, moved to Plano and
Dallas. Ohhh how she love the Lord.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Johnnie
Jones (Allen); three sisters Thelma Hall (Allen), Annie Allen
(McKinney) and Betty Thomas (Plano). Two brothers, Willie
Jones (Allen) and George Jones (Plano). Three husbands Robert
Shaw (Dallas), Paul Standberry (Plano) and Charles Hickson
(Dallas). One son Robert Shaw (Plano).
Beulah leaves to cherish her memories,
Sons: Andre Shaw (Rolanda) of Melissa TX; Tyrone Shaw of Dallas
TX and Lafayette Shaw (Carolyn) of Plano TX.
Daughters: Melana Shaw-Williams (Charles) of Dallas TX and
Colleen Shaw-Harbert (Byron) of McKinney TX.
Grandchildren: Tanisha Standberry, Joe Brown, DeMar Shaw,
LaToya Kelley, Andrea Shaw-Yaites, Briana Shaw, Klein
Singleton, Xavier Harbert, Jonathan Shaw and Tammara Shaw.
Great Grandchildren: Octavia, Asia, Chase, Chance, Shyne,
Cameron, BreAsia, DJ, Rhyan, Baylei, Neema, Niko, Kai and
Aubry
Brothers/Sisters: Herbert Jones (Rebeker) of Princeton TX, Jewel
Chappell (Curtis) of Allen TX, Carolyn Johnson (Willie) of Fort
Worth TX, Linda Jones (Harvey Johnson) of Allen TX, Billy Jones
(Loretta) of Plano TX, John Jones (Debbie) of Louisiana, Mary
Redic (Paul) of Plano TX, Paul Jones (Rhonda) of McKinney TX
and Zenford Jones (Sonia) of Dallas TX.
A host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends
Beulah lived a satisfying life and found great joy being around her
family. She had a beautiful and sweet spirit and will be missed by
all. After she finished her earthly job, God welcomed his good and
faithful servant home.
