Betty Jean Morgan Haynes was born on August 23, 1935, in Howland, Texas. She was a beautiful baby girl born to the parentage of Emerson and Myra Franklin Morgan who preceded her in death. Betty had six sisters and three brothers whom also proceeded in her death.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age and began her Christian journey. She later became an active member of
Friendship Baptist Church in The Colony, Texas. There she served on the Usher Board, sang in the Choir and was an active member of the Mature Ministry group. She was loved by her church family; many referred to her as Momma or Granny.

Betty loved the Lord and lead a life characterized by unwavering faith, dedication, and service amidst life's challenges. She always kept the faith, trusted God, believed in His promises. She enjoyed the fellowship and worship, and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great friend to many.

Betty's beautiful daughter Kyle Jones of Plano, TX also proceeded in her death.

Betty leaves the following to cherish and honor her precious memories: her surviving children, LaVarro Haynes (Plano TX), Janice Haynes (Mesquite, TX), Stevie Haynes (Plano, TX), Alfred Haynes (Plano, TX), Morgan Jones along with daughter in law, Janie Jones (both of
Mesquite, TX); her surviving sisters, Ruby Burns (Paris, TX) and Ira Boone (Garland, TX); 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, and her Friendship Baptist Church Family all of whom she loved dearly.

Betty will be greatly missed and forever loved all who knew her.
