Billy Ray Jones was born on May 29, 1966, to the parents of Alex Jones, Jr., and Margarine Dabney-Jones.

Billy attended school in the Rockwall Independent School District and was active in football, basketball, and track. He was a graduated of the class of 1985.

Ray enjoyed listening to music, singing, dancing, and most of all cooking the best Briskets! Ray loved and enjoyed spending time with his family.

On Thursday, August 25, 2022, God called Ray home and even though it was sudden and unexpected, we know that God doesn't make mistakes and Ray is resting in God's Arms. Ray is preceded in death by his mother, father, two brothers, three sisters, and one nephew.

Ray leaves to celebrate his life and homegoing, his son Alex Jones; daughter Kiara Jones; four sisters: June, Debra, Barbara, and Denita; two brothers: twins Rickey and Gaylon; three grandchildren: Alana, Amori, Aubree, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
