On March 13, 1949 Will and Cora Reed received a bundle of joy, and her
name was Bobbie Lee Reed. She was born at 214 Sherman Street in
Grand Prairie, Texas.
Bobbie received her formal education in Grand Prairie. She enjoyed
traveling and shared how exciting whale watching in Seattle was. She
was always down for a game of Dominoes, Yahtzee or Spades. In her
free time, you could find her watching Westerns, Wheel of Fortune, Soap
Operas, playing Solitaire or just enjoying her family. She LOVED to
have a good time!
One of her favorite things to say was,
"I love me some me !"
Bobbie Lee gave birth to four boys, Tommy (Stinka) Jackson, Willie
Jackson, Kelvin (Pee Wee) Jackson, and Conard D. Jackson. From them
she gained twelve amazing grandchildren, Alvis, Sophia, Shedrick,
Willie, Willis, Antoinette, Jamal, Markie (Walter), Christina (My'Chal),
Kelvin, Nanette, and Lissette.
Bobbie Lee departed this life on Friday, November 4, 2022. She was
preceded in death by her father and mother, Will and Cora Reed; two
sisters Dannie Mae Price and Gertrude Jamerson. She leaves to cherish
her memory, all four of her sons, Tommy Jackson (Genna), Willie
Jackson, Kelvin Jackson (Nancy), and Conard Jackson, twelve
grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, one great-great
grandchild on the way; two sisters, Willie Green (William) and Margaret
Mayo; her only brother, Clarence Reed; and a host of nephews, nieces,
relatives and friends.
