Obituary

Bobby (Billy) Mabry was born on August 21st, 1952 to Charles Edward Mabry Sr. and
Nancy Belle (Williams) Mabry. On Friday October 13th, 2023, he was called home.
Awaiting his arrival were his parents and his brothers: Charles E. Mabry Jr., Howard
Mabry, and his Great Grand Nephew Alijah and many other relatives and friends.
Bobby and his siblings were raised in the church by his parents in Tennessee he
attended MT. Gilliam M.B. Church in Memphis, TN. After relocating to Joliet, Bobby was
a member of Progressive C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of his father Elder C. Mabry
Sr.

Bobby was a very talented musician. He learned piano and organ at a young age and
put that talent to use in Churches in every state he lived in. He used his music to spread
the word and love that God brings. A man of God, he always was there with a kind word
and a helping hand. If you were depressed or sad, he would lift your spirits with his
sense of humor.

Bobby is survived by his Nieces and Nephews; Rosie Holloman of Joliet, Il, Robert
(Joycelyn) Mabry of Southaven, MS and Dominique (Kwayana) Richards of FL Great
Nieces and Nephews; Adrian Clark, Dr. Irisha Clark, Mariah Mabry, Jeremiah Mabry,
Kiana Richards, Christian Bayless and Kyra Bayless. Great Grand Nieces and
Nephews, Adrianna, Jalyn, Asir, Zahir, Ty'Leah and a host of cousins, family, and
friends.

His legacy will continue, and his life's journey will forever be cherished, celebrated, and
honored by all the people who loved and appreciated him. He may not physically be
with us any longer, but he will continuously live within our hearts and spirits all the days
of our lives.
