Bobby Ray Whitemon was born to the late Rayfield Whitemon
Sr. and Etta Mae Green on September 15, 1956 in Dallas, Texas.
Bobby accepted Christ and was baptized at early age at Full
Gospel Holy Temple Church in Dallas, Texas. He attended South
Oak High School.
He retired after working 30 years as a mechanic. Bobby also
worked/assisted in the kitchen, the fellowship hall and helped
deliver food to the sick and shut in for Faith Fellowship
Missionary Baptist Church.
Bobby Ray was hardworking, loving and caring; and loved to
keep people happy and laughing.
On May 27, 2023, Bobby Ray Whitemon transitioned from earth
to glory. He was preceded in death by his loving brother Charles
Mosley.
His memories will forever be cherished by his two sons: Bobby
Henderson of Austin, TX and Rayshun Whitemon of Arlington,
TX; three daughters: Patricia Whitemon of Austin, TX, Candace
Whitemon of Fort Worth, TX and Tanisha Whitemon of
Arlington, TX; six brothers: David Whitemon, Corey Whitemon,
Steve Whitemon, Rayfield Whitemon Jr., and James Whitemon
all of Dallas, TX, Billy Whitemon of Grand Prairie, TX; nine
sisters: Carolyn Whitemon, Dorothy Whitemon-Hickey and
Mildred Whitemon-Kelly all of Grand Prairie, TX, Angela Mays,
Karen Edube (Justine), Christina Whitemon-Ford and Cheryl
Whitemon-Kemp (Anthony) all of Dallas, TX, Rhonda Whitemon
and Geneva Whitemon both of Tyler, TX; aunt Patricia
Whitemon-Johnson, DeSoto, TX; nine grandchildren and a host
of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, greatgreat nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Bobby Ray will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those
who knew and loved him.
