Bonnie Jean Luster passed away on January 18, 2025 in Quinlan,
Texas. She was born in Rockwall County to the parentage of
Norman Luster, Sr. and Mildred Collins Smith.

Bonnie attended Garland High School and became a productive
citizen in the Garland community of which she loved. She was
employed with the Garland Independent School District taking on
several roles.

Bonnie loved life and lived it to the fullest. She was caring and
offered love, laughter and light to everyone she met. As a matter
of fact, she never met a stranger; she would give to others even
when she didn't have much to give. She spread kindness and
warmth to all who knew her and was never judgmental. Her
smile was infectious, her grace warmed the room, she was truly
beautiful inside and out.

Bonnie's greatest pride and joy were her children, whom she
cherished deeply. She was a strong, proud and selfless mother
and grandmother. She spent her life making memories with them,
passing down family traditions, recipes, and endless love.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her mother and father, Mildred

Collins Smith and Norman Luster, Sr.; sister, Susie Luster; broth-
ers, Sgt. Lenord Luster, Sr. Norman Luster, Jr., Elzie Norris Lus-
ter, Donnell Luster and Frankie Bee Luster.

Through God's grace and mercy, she is survived by her children,
Carla Johnson and Jeffery Luster; siblings, Beverly Wright,
Frankie Lee Luster, Donna Luster, Daren Luster, Charles Luster,
Eric Luster and Linda Faye Lyons; step mother, Linda Luster;
and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her spirit
and zest for life will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
