Brandon Jovan Mapps was born on August 3, 1981 to Michael Taylor William and Doris Mapps. He was the youngest child born into the family. Although, he was the baby of the family he had an old soul. He was often spoiled by his sisters.
Brandon graduated from Roosevelt High School and worked several different jobs with aspirations of making more than enough money to provide for his family.
"Biship", as he was affectionately known by his friends, was a good man with a big heart. He loved to laugh and relax. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He built his music on the artistry of the late Tupac, which was his favorite.
Brandon was preceded in death by his grandmother Georgia Baker-Sanders; sister Comece Morris and niece Dorothy Hilliard.
He is survived by his mother Doris Mapps; step-dad Garland "Pipa" Dibble; son Devin Jovan Mapps; daughter Imari Mapps; two sisters: Tonye Pegram and Kristy Mapps; nephews: Johanes Morris, Christopher Mapps and Comelius Pegram; nieces: Josette Morris and Travanti Mapps; great nephews: Jeremiah and Jayce; ex brother-in-law James Babers; best friends LaMorris "Big G" Davis, Joe Clark, Koe and a host of other relatives and friends
