Brenda Jewel Armstrong was born March 16th, 1963 to the parentage of Cleveland and Earnestine Armstrong.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Elem Baptist Church in Greenville, Texas. At the age of five in 1968, Brenda and her family moved to Garland, Texas. She graduated from Garland High School in 1981.

Through her younger years, Brenda, her sisters and cousins would sing
as a group called the Jewels of God. Later in 1997, Brenda along with her sisters and their mother would form a group called the Armstrong
Family Singers and they would travel around the country singing the gospel.

Brenda worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for thirty years and Kofile Technologies for the last two years of her life. Brenda was a light to all
she met and made a lasting impact on them. Brenda was proceeded in death by her mother Earnestine Armstrong; paternal grandparents; Steel and Gertrude Armstrong; maternal grandparents Earnest and Mattie Wilson as well as a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She leaves the following to cherish her memory: her father Cleveland Armstrong Sr.; her siblings Ruby Grant, Patricia Singletary, Cleveland
Armstrong Jr., Yvonne Johnson, Chad Davis and Ebony Armstrong; her nieces Marissa and Mariah Singletary; nephew Adrian Price; uncles George Wilson (Karen), Smith Wilson (Sandra), Odell Armstrong, Robert Armstrong (Joevelyn); aunts Mary Williams (Willie), Myrtle Wilson and Dessie Armstong; as well as a host of other family, friends, church members and coworkers.

Her legacy will be that of a Godly woman who was a dear friend and who loved her family all of whom will continue to honor her legacy by
living their lives to the fullest to the glory of God. She would want us to mourn her passing but also celebrate her life.
