IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brenda Ann
Elliott
August 21, 1953 – August 12, 2025
On Tuesday August 12,2025, our Lord Almighty summoned a few good men to meet him at the Heavenly gates. He told them that He was ready to fulfill His promise to Brenda and wipe all tears from her eyes. He was going to end her suffering and bring her to another place where "there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away", (Revelations 21:4). She had won the battle and would be coming home to take her rest.
Brenda Elliott was born on Friday August 21, 1953, to the parents of Christian and Sammie Lee Moore. Brenda accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church. Brenda was especially gifted at singing and shared her gifts in the church choir alongside her older sister, Christine. Brenda attended grade school in the Farmersville Public School System and was a 1971 graduate of Farmerville High School. After graduation, Brenda left Louisiana and moved to Dallas to seek new endeavors. There, she met the love of her life, Gary Don Elliott. Throughout their 42 years of unity, their love created two beautiful girls, Tamara and Keri. The Lord later blessed them to have a bonus Son, Sederick Copeland.
Brenda was preceded in death by her mother and father, five brothers, nephew, Corey Hampton, her firstborn daughter, Tamara Washington, and the love of her life, Gary Elliott.
Brenda leaves mourning her departure yet cherishing her memories: sister Christine Hampton, daughter, Keri Elliott; one bonus son Sederick Copeland; three grandsons: LeDavian, Christian, Josiah; one great granddaughter, Kh'Lani, and a host of relatives and friends both near and far.
