Calap Manley Williams Jr.
Calap Manley Williams Jr. was born to the late Calap Manley Sr. and Mary Lee Morgan on October 16, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. Calap accepted Christ and was baptized at House of Refuge Holiness Church in Grand Prairie, Texas under the leadership of Doctor Derwin Sneed Sr. and late Pastor James E. Williams, Sr.
He attended Dalworth Elementary and Dalworth High School in Grand Prairie, Texas. Calap graduated from Dalworth High School in 1964, Lettered in Football.
He was married to Dorothy Faye Nance August 27, 1963 for 31 years. From their union three children born, Calap Manley Williams III, Aleta Renee Williams Jackson and Travis Williams.
He was employed at Texas Star and Stone Container Corporation and retired after working 20 Years. He was excellent provider for his family. Calap Loved being with family, friends, going fishing before his strokes.
On August 24, 2022 Calap Manley Williams Jr. transitioned from earth to glory. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Calap Manley Sr., Mary Lee Morgan Harrison and Step Father Daniel Harrison. Grand Parents Lonnie Morgan Sr. and Annie Williams. Brothers Travis Williams Sr, and Pastor James E. Williams Sr. Sister Charlie Mae Nelson. Grandson Chaz D. Williams and Great-Grandson Dakari Jackson.
His memories will forever be cherished by his; Three Sons Calap Manley Williams III(Kristina) of Arlington, Texas; Travis Williams (Vetta) of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Calap James Williams of Arlington, Texas. One daughter Aleta Renee Williams Jackson (Darryl Sr.) of Grand Prairie, Texas. One Sister Rita Zorn of Grand Prairie, Texas.
12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
