IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Calvin
Rose
January 6, 1975 – January 24, 2026
Calvin Rose, Jr. was born January 6, 1975, to the parents of Calvin Rose, Sr. and Linda West in Plano, Texas.
Calvin Rose, Jr. aka "Bear" was a fun, loving father, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. He will be remembered as a man who enjoyed the simple things in life and loved his family more than anything. Bear loved and lived his life to the fullest until his health
failed him. We will forever remember his smile, his laughter, and the goodness within him. The love he gave will continue to echo in the lives of his family and friends.
On January 24, 2026, Calvin made his transition to glory. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Dorothy M. Simmons, AC Hollins, and Inez Walker; a son, Cye Rose; a sister, Clevette Hollins; three uncles, Elbert Wayne Simmons, Bobby Joe
Atwine, and Charles Hollins; four aunts, Yotis M. Simmons, Earlene Hollins, Frankie Hollins and Betty Hollins; and a cousin, Quixar "Q" Simmons.
Calvin leaves the following to cherish his beloved memories: his parents, Calvin Rose, Sr. (Eula) and Linda West (Willie); six sons,
Julian Rose, Cody Rose, Carter Rose, Christin Rose, Stephen Rose and Clyde Henderson; five daughters, Cemedra Rose, Ce'Kya Henderson,
Celeste Rose, Chazlyn Rose and Asasha' Rose; and one granddaughter, Dion Rose.
He will be forever remembered by his aunts, Denise Ingram , Bonnie Hollins, Louise Dixon, Carolyn Walker, Brenda Walker, Kay Walker,
Shirley Walker; an uncle, Carl Ray Hollins; a great aunt, Margie Faye Walker; and his ride or die cousins, Tirila Wicker (Brandon), a God
brother, John Wade as well as a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
As we say goodbye, we are comforted knowing his spirit is at peace. Calvin Rose, Jr. "Bear" will be deeply missed and loved forever.
Until we meet again.
