Charklin Adolphus Ferrell "Sodawater" as he was so lovingly referred to by most, was born on September 24, 1963, to his beloved parents, Andrew Ferrell, Jr. and Linda Ferrell.
Charklin grew up in North Dallas and graduated from North Dallas High School. He furthered his education at Cedar Hill College studying Automotives and later at Eastfield College majoring in Special Languages. He was employed with the City of Dallas from which he retired after serving many years.
He met and married the love of his life, Kelly Moten Ferrell. They started a family together which he was very proud and protective of. He loved his family more than anything and would do whatever he could to be there for them. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father.
Charklin was also a man of great faith who had an enormous heart and loved joyfully. He was generous, compassionate, easy going, and kind. Whenever someone needed anything, they could always count on him to come to the rescue. He had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh, leaving a lasting impact on all who crossed his path.
He made his final transition July 5, 2025. He was reunited with his father, Andrew Ferrell, Jr., and his beloved wife, Kelly Ferrell.
Charklin leaves the following to cherish his memory: his loving daughter, Whitney Ferrell; devoted son, Aaron Ferrell; his mother, Linda Ferrell; brothers, David Ferrell and Andrew Ferrell III; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
Charklin Adolphus Ferrell "Sodawater" was loved and respected by many and will be remembered for his bright smile, infectious laugh and his dedication to his family and friends. Although he is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.
