On April 11, 1993, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Curtis Elmore, Yvette Ventry Elmore, and Derrick Recasner welcomed a bouncing baby girl with an infectious smile. They named their beautiful baby girl,

Chedawn Demetrice Elmore

She received her formal education in New Orleans, Louisiana, and graduated from Priestly High School of Architect and Construction in 2012. In 2015, Chedawn relocated to Plano, Texas, where she joined Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and was a faithful member under the leadership of Dr. Isiah Joshua, Jr.

"Dede," as family and friends affectionately called her, worked as an ERCP Technician at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Plano faithfully until her untimely demise. She was an outgoing young lady and thoroughly loved her family. She enjoyed being with her daughter, doing hair, being her naturally goofy self, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Chedawn was called home to live with her Heavenly Father on April 26, 2020. She will be greeted at the Gates of Heaven by her great-grandmother Alma Carter and grandmother Mable Elmore.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter Elaysia Mustiful (father Brandon Mustiful); mother Yvette Ventry Elmore; father Curtis Elmore and Derrick Recasner; siblings: Cee, Nicholas, Curtis, Jr. Celaina Elmore and Tiana Johnson; grandmother Frances Radford; grandfather Nathan Ventry, Sr.; two uncles: Elton Tross and Nathan Ventry, Jr.; aunt Dana Ventry; loving devoted friends: Laterica Lyons, Keke Wardsworth, Adrienne Smother, Kiersten Williams, Stephanie Adams and a host of other relatives and friends.
