IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christian Amari
Coburn
April 19, 2002 – August 17, 2022
Christian Amari Coburn, 20 years old, of Forney, Texas, was granted his angel wings on August 17, 2022. Chris's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by his life understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
Christian came into this world on April 19th, 2002, in Chicago, Illinois to Markita Cherise Coburn. He was known as "the thinker" and displayed leadership in early childhood. His family moved to Texas, and he went on to complete coursework early and graduate from North Forney High School in 2019, walking with his senior class in 2020. As Chris began working, he was quickly promoted into leadership positions.
Christian loved cars. From playing with them as a child to photographing them as a teen to driving them as soon as he could; the faster the better. Christian was an entrepreneur, a legitimate hustler AKA the "shoe plug", a monetized video game streamer and photographer. He had incredible fashion sense and his shoe collection looked like a shoe store. He loved his family and never met a stranger. He had a sense of humor that could make anyone smile. If you met him once, you'd never forget him.
Christian was a loving son, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend anyone would be proud to have.
Christian is survived by his mother, Markita Coburn, and siblings Amayah, Nicholas, Ashton, Justin A'Nya, and Kaydence. He is also survived by his Tia Stephanie Coburn and his grandmother Carmen Coburn.
As a loving uncle, he is also mourned by his nieces: LiYari and LiYanna.
He also leaves to mourn: His uncle Ryan Johnson, "Granny" Charlene Stanback, his maternal family in Chattanooga, TN (Aunt Anna Johnson and Uncle Robert Hawkins), his paternal family in Illinois, his family in Memphis, TN as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins in Texas and Ohio.
Because Christian is who he is, he will be greatly missed by extended family, bonus family, and a host of close friends, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving teachers and classmates.
