On Sunday, May 26, 2019, Christopher La-Jon Corder, Jr. "Chris", a loving son and father of two children, passed away at the tender age of 27.

Christopher was born on October 14, 1991 in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Christopher La-Jon Corder, Sr. and Cheryl Renee Corder. He accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of Pastor Juan Leon of Chicago, Illinois.

Chris received his GED from Richland College in 2013, he later received his HVAC Technician Certification in 2018 from Remington College. He was determined to take care of his family and made the Dean's List numerous times. He received a Perfect Attendance Award and many others.

Chris had an infectious smile and would light up with his energy. He was loved my all who met him.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Rose Marie Corder.

Chris leaves to cherish his memories, his parents: Christopher, Sr. and Cheryl R. Corder; two sons: Christopher III and Alijah Iverson Corder; the mother of his children: TraLandus Weaver (Trina); paternal grandfather: John Henry Corder; maternal grandmother: Cheryl A. Swansey Rose; sister Jasmyn Da-Isha Corder; brother Markus Allen and a host of aunts, uncles and friends.
