IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Christopher Phillip-Guy
Green
May 20, 1990 – August 16, 2020
Christopher Phillip-Guy Green was born on May 20, 1990, to Howard Denby Green Sr. and Pascal Lazale Livingston Green in Memphis, Tennessee. He was the third child of four to be born to this union. He was a blessing to his parents and family. Chris accepted Christ at the age of six and was baptized at Central Baptist Church Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee by his grandfather Rev. Dr. Reuben Henry Green Sr., the pastor. There, Chris was an active youth member. He was a member of the CIA (Christians in Action) and TCWs (Teenage Christian Workers).
Christopher developed a love for the Arts, Music, and football. He was the sole illustrator for the book, "Read To Me" written by Amber Green, his cousin, published by GrantHouse Publishers in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He also wrote the lyrics to "Just Like Me," a rap song with a contemporary jazz sound that has not yet received publication. The song's storyline was about his newborn son, Christopher II. During his early years, Chris played peewee and middle school football where he starred on his teams as a linebacker and running back. He excelled at what he set his mind to accomplish.
Christopher was a product of the Allen Independent School District. After high school, he sought employment. He worked for Maaco for several years and the City of Allen. His infectious smile and adorable personality drew many people to him. He shared his love for God with family, friends, and often gave to others in need. Chris is preceded in death by a daughter, Jailyn Alese in 2007 and leaves to cherish his blessed memory to Myrtle B. Livingston of Grambling, Louisiana (grandmother): Howard Denby Sr. (father); Pascal (mother): one sister; Adrienne (Robert Cook), two brothers; Howard II and D'Andre (Shaylon): Christopher II (son); Jodie (son); Krislyn (daughter); Caleb (son) and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
