Christopher Dewayne Ridge was born on May 17, 1981 in Dallas, Texas. He received his formal education in the Garland Independent School District and graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School in 2002.
Chris accepted Christ at an early age and was a longtime member of St. Luke AME Church.
"Christopher George" as he was called by many of his family and friends, had a heart of gold and his smile and laughter would light up a room. He loved to draw, play with his nieces, nephews and give hugs that would last forever.
On November 10, 2019, Chris went home to be with the Lord. He will be welcomed at Heaven's Gates by his grandfather Curtis E. Ridge, Sr., grandmother Rosemary Williams, nephew Romeo Jalil Jeter, aunt Donna D. Ridge, uncle Larry Ridge, great grandfather Dennison Ridge and great grandmother Dorothy Ridge.
Chris leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Pamela Ridge; two sisters: Crystal Ridge and Katrina Jeter; two aunts: Cynthia Reed and LaResa Ridge; three uncles: Freddie Williams, Rev. Gary Williams, Sr. and Curtis Ridge, Jr.; grandmother Zelda Ridge; two nieces: Keyonna Roe and Niyla Jeter; three nephews: Ki'Mareya Ridge, Em'Ree Ridge and Kayleb Ridge; special friend Freda Brown and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
