Chuponda L.
Walker
Dec 6, 1970 — May 17, 2026
Chuponda L. Walker was born in McKinney, Texas, to J.P. Walker and Joann Drake and was lovingly raised in Plano, Texas. From an early age, Chuponda carried a light within her that could brighten any room. Her smile was unforgettable, her laughter was contagious, and her heart was truly one of a kind.
Chuponda was fun-loving, full of life, and always knew how to make others laugh, even during difficult times. She had a beautiful spirit and never hesitated to help anyone in need. If someone needed support, encouragement, a listening ear, or simply love, Chuponda was there without hesitation. She had a heart big enough to care for everyone and treated people like family.
Above all, Chuponda was a devoted mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to loving and caring for her children and grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her, and she made countless sacrifices to make sure they were protected, supported, and deeply loved. The love she gave was unconditional, genuine, and something that can never be replaced.
To know Chuponda was to know love, kindness, and strength. Though her passing leaves an unimaginable void, the memories she created, the love she poured into others, and the impact she made will forever live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and all who were blessed to know her. Her smile, warmth, and loving spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Chuponda leaves the following to cherish her loving memory: two daughters, Sharonda Majors and Mariah Nelson; one son, Ronald Majors; five grandchildren, Tremale Majors, Kinzley Townsend, Ermias Thorne, Emani Thorne and Teighan Williams; two sisters, Barbara Drake and Shelia Walker; one brother, Teighan Williams; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends whom she loved dearly.
In the tapestry of life, Chuponda’s presence will forever remain woven into our most cherished memories.
Her impact was profound, her love limitless, and her legacy everlasting. Though we say goodbye for now, we celebrate a life beautifully lived — a life filled with compassion and grace. She was a shining example of love and light, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
Chuponda Latrice Walker’s love is Forever.
