Clarence Edward Jones was born on November 9, 1941 to the parents of Charles Earl Jones and Lillie Lang Jones, both preceded him in death along with his brother Charles Jones; three sisters: Mary Louise Johnson, Freddie B. Evans, Mary Ella Taylor and two grandchildren: De'Mar Jones and LePorshe Jones.

On February 22, 2019, Clarence went to live with his Heavenly Father in Heaven.

Clarence Leaves to cherish his memories six children: Karen Simpson of Waco, TX., Da'Mone Jones of Dallas, TX., Deborah Jones of Grand Prairie, TX., Lillye De(Shawn) Hickey Ferguson of Desoto, TX., Daron and LaKisha Jones of Desoto, TX., and Darvin Jones of Ft. Worth, TX.; one sister: Annie McFall of Grand Prairie, TX.; twenty grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two God children: Ricky Anderson and Roderick Lucas; one special daughter-in-law: Shalonda Cooper Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful friends.
