Clinton Jackson,
Jr.
March 8, 1960 – October 27, 2019
Clinton was born on March 8, 1960, in Waxahachie, Texas to Clinton Sr. and Margie Jackson. Clinton graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1978, where he played Varsity Football. He was a collector of sports memorabilia. His collection consisted of over 200 ball caps, representing all sports from college to professional teams. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.
His love for sports showed on Wednesday nights during the volleyball games where he played at the Dalworth Recreation Center. He was the first one to show up for the games. His excitement and eagerness to win was always a joy to see.
Clinton spent his past time listening to music, he had every old school song that was played on the radio. We all wondered why he never became a DJ. He was a certified Mechanic and a lover of cars.
His love for his family was unconditional. He adored his niece and nephew and they could get any and everything they wanted from him.
He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Willis and Evie Washington and Wesley and Mamie Jackson.
Precious memories of Clinton will be cherished by, his parents, Clinton Sr. and Margie Jackson of Grand Prairie, Texas; brother, Calvin Jackson (Dawn) of Duncanville, Texas; nephew, Wesley Jackson (Myka) of Grand Prairie, Texas; niece, Whitney Jackson of Dallas, Texas; great-nieces, Ava and Austin; caregiver and sister-in-law Tarrance Jones of Grand Prairie, Texas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
