Collie Orrett Ridguard Sr., commonly known as "Carly" or "Big Mac," the younger of two siblings, was born on November 25, 1978, to Garrick Ridguard and Carol Campbell at 8 Ladd Lane in Kingston, Jamaica. Collie attended Higholborn Street Basic School, then on to Holy Family Primary School whereafter he attended Trench Town High School. While in high school, he met the love of his life, Jade Campbell, with whom he spent over two decades, producing 6 lovely children.

A Rastafarian, a businessman, a devoted father, a family man, a provider, a protector, a friend, etc., Collie was it all. Like his mother and his oldest daughter, beyond his hard exterior, he had a heart of gold. He loved children and had a tremendous amount for his. One of his loves was listening to music from various reggae artists and communicating with anyone who had a listening ear about his children and his family. He went to great lengths to make sure his children and family were equipped with the tools to succeed and supported them through all their endeavors. One of his favorite pastimes was enjoying spending time with his older brother, cousins, and people from all walks of life.

Collie leaves to cherish his sweet memories, his 6 children: Collie Ridguard Jr. (Little C.), Tianna Ridguard (Stary), Collin Ridguard (CC), Jadeden Ridguard (Sky), Cavani Ridguard (CJ), and Zipporah Ridguard (Sunshine), his parents, his aunts and uncles, his brothers and sisters, his nieces and nephews, friends, and a host of cousins.
