Debra Ann Allen was bron on December 16, 1959 to the parents of Claude and Velma Beard.

Debra grew up in Grand Prairie, Texas where she met and married Thaxton Holmes and had two daughters.

Debra accepted Christ at a young age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She later went to join Trinity United Methodist Church until she moved to Jubilee United Methodist Church. She spent her last days as a member of Christ Way Church in Arlington, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Sylvester Keys II.

She is preceded in death by both  her parents, Claude and Velma Beard and her sister Mary Calton.

Debra leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters: Marla (Jeremy) and Stefanie; one son: Melvin; eleven grandchildren: Jalyria, Jaraelon, Donovante, Yunek, Darius, Sylance, Alleah, Mellani, Journee, Mahni, and Amayah; three sisters: Erenestine, Clementine, and Gloria; two brothers: Wille and Clarence; her Ride or Die niece, Amber Calton and a host of other relatives and friends.
