Deidre Kay (DeeDie) Wright-Harris was born to the parentage of Alvin Wright and Bernice Wright in Dallas, Texas on April 20, 1962. She received her formal education from Rockwall Independent School district and graduated from Rockwall High School.

Deidre accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Paul AME Church for many years.

She met and married Robert Pryor and to their union one son was born. After their marriage dissolved, she married Luther Harris and to their union three children were born.

Deidre enjoyed playing dominoes and listening to music.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Alvin Jr. and Joe Wright; daughter Cassandra Delois (Candy) and sister Cassandra Jenine Wright.

Deidre leaves to cherish her memories her children: Demarcus, Artimeous (LaKendra) and Brandon (Taniqua) Wright; her sister Alva Wright-Caraway; two brothers: Ernest (Greg) Wright (Marion) and Marvin Ardell Wright (Felicia); nine grandchildren; special friend Alvin Brown; special sister Jeanette Carpenter and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
