Demarcus Deon Trotter was born and raised in Natchitoches, LA by Cynthia M. Trotter and Roosevelt Sykes. He attended First Baptist on Amulet as a young child where he was taught to know and love the Lord. Demarcus proudly sung in the choir for 4 years. In June of 2000, at the age of 12 he was baptized by Pastor Rev. Joseph Dupree.

Demarcus loved to learn new things. He attended Cloutierville Elementary School, Natchitoches Junior High, and Natchitoches Central High School. He continued his education at Shreveport Job Corp and ITT Technical Institute of New Orleans. Demarcus always had a go get it attitude. He entered the workforce at the early age of 16. His first job was working at McDonald's where he held many positions. He later joined the United States Army and served 6 years as a Transportation Specialist. After his military career he continued with his passion as Transporter. He was a dedicated truck driver who enthusiastically transported goods all over the country.

Demarcus enjoyed traveling with his wife, family, and friends. One of his favorite destinations that he traveled to was Tokyo, Japan. Demarcus enjoyed reading and writing short novels. In his leisure time he enjoyed winning at the casino, playing chess, playing his PlayStation, and watching movies. Most of all he enjoyed making memories with his loved ones.

Demarcus was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Ural B. Fobbs (whom he loved dearly), his grandfather, Ocie Gay, Sr., and his uncle, Kevin Higgins.

Demarcus leaves to cherish his memory, his wife LaMeisha Trotter of Irving, TX; His daughter Marlayia Brown of New Orleans, LA. His mother, Cynthia Trotter of Pineland, TX; His siblings Shantoria Trotter (Sharkea Trotter) of Columbia, SC, Demetrius Trotter of Pineland, TX and (Brother) Darius Randolph of Shreveport, LA; niece, Raine Trotter; Grandmother, Pearlie Anthony of Natchitoches, LA and a host of relatives and friends .
