Dianne Rayson Gipson was born April 25, 1946, to the parentage of Valerice Skeins and Joe Berda Rayson Sr., in Dallas, Texas.
Dianne later met and married Richard Steve Gipson in November 1967 and to this union two children were born, Michael Terrance and Meladie Tamarra Deliverance Gipson.
Dianne was employed with the Dallas Independent School District where she maintained the position as a teacher for a tenure of more than twenty years. Dianne rendered a decision to retire and become a stay at home mom and wife. She was very loyal to her family and friends. As a hobby and a means of breaking everyone's pocketbook, BINGO was it. If it wasn't I-30 it was Choctaw, Oklahoma. She was a true lover of life and all that she did. You could not under any circumstance miss her in the kitchen. That chicken, mac and cheese, yams, and cabbage she had mastered. Though she took her time and made us suffer while we waited, it was well worth the wait. So, as we commit Di back to you Father God, we'd like to say Thank You for the blessings that you allowed her to bestow in each passing individual life whom she may have encountered. Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, yes, well pleased to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
She is preceded in death by Joe Berda Rayson Sr. (father), Sharon Ann Booker (sister), Valerice Skeins Rayson (mother), Jacqueline Turner (sister), and Joe Berda Rayson Jr. (brother).
Dianne leaves to cherish her memory, husband Richard Gipson; son Michael Gipson; daughter Meladie Gipson; brother Bobby Rayson (Debbie); grandchildren: Ashley, Tremayne, Courtney, Monterrika, Mariana, Matthew, Maiya, and Morgan; great- grandchildren: Damone Jr., Damari, Trinity, London, Lawrence and a host of family and friends.
