Dixie Mae Williams went to her heavenly home December 21, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. She was surrounded
by her children and grandchildren who loved her so dearly.
Dixie was born on October 21, 1937. She graduated from high school in Tyler, Texas in 1954. She married
Orell Williams on April 18, 1963. Dixie Mae moved to Dallas, Texas in 1974. She devoted her life to being a
loving wife, mother to her six children, daughter, sister and friend.
She was an amazing cook and would always have dinner on the table for her family. She fed many of her kids'
friends who conveniently stopped by to visit. Dixie was a sweet, gentle soul who treated everyone with
respect, love, courtesy and kindness. She loved reading, watching westerns and listening to music. She was
loved by family and friends who will remember her for her sweet personality.
Loved ones who left before her are as follows; her husband Orell Williams; her parents Robert and Wiona
Dews; her sisters Lorene McAfee and Irene McAfee.
She leaves to cherish her memories her four Daughters Mary Bell (Greg), Sandra Jones (Wayne), Gloria Hare
(Byron), Debra Williams; two Sons Johnny Williams (Lafreda), Larry Williams (Gloria); fifteen Grandchildren Charles, Darrell, Cedric, Sherneria, Brandy, London, Ja'Khiya, Jalen, Byron, Cameron, Pharrell, Cenaiya,
Terrell, Calhaun, LaShyrae and a host of loving family and friends.
