IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donald Lee
Lewis, Ii
September 14, 1962 – June 7, 2022
Donald Lee Lewis II was born on September 14, 1962, in Memphis, Tennessee, and was entered into eternal rest on June 7, 2022, at the age of 59. Donald Lee Lewis II was the eldest of two children of the late Donald Lee Lewis, Sr, and Gracie Lewis.
Donald graduated from State Tech in Memphis, Tennessee where he received his Electronic Engineering degree. Upon completing his college degree Donald moved to Texas where his brother, George Richard Lewis lived, and his professional career journey began. He worked at companies such as Hitachi Semiconductor, DSC Communications, Alcatel-Lucent, AT&T, and Accenture.
Donald gave his life to Christ, on March 18, 1973, at the early age of 10.
Donald found true love August 30, 1997 and he entered into holy matrimony with Karen Lynn Chambers. In 1998, Donald and Karen became members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, in Plano Texas. Donald was a faithful and loyal member until he entered into eternal rest. There he gained his spiritual growth and enjoyed the Christian fellowship among church members and friends. Donald supported and was very active in many church organizations, including Young Adult Ministry, Brotherhood, Mentorship, Tutoring, and the Male Chorus.
Donald loved and looked forward to going to "opening day" movies with his daughter, Nastachia. He always enjoyed the Church and Investment Club picnics and outdoor cooking on his various grills. Donald loved to travel but, more than anything, he loved his entire family, extended families included, and would call frequently to check on them.
He was preceded in death by both parents Donald Lee Lewis Sr and Gracie Lewis, and half-brother Cecil M. Lewis (Mary Frye).
Fond memories will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife, Karen Lewis, daughter Nastachia Lewis, brother George Richard Lewis, and two step-brothers Steven Moore and Davis Moore. He also leaves to cherish fond and lasting memories, mother-in-law, Lozell Chambers, three sister-in-laws, Ramona Lewis (George), Glenda Askey (Quintin), Lisa Shane-Moore (Steven), and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
