Donny Wayne Hill was born on February 23, 1959, in Timpson, Texas to the parents of Leacie "Mae" Hill and Bill Hill. He received his formal education from the Plano Independent School and graduated from Plano Senior High School in 1978. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country from February 1, 1978, to March 20, 1978.
Donny accepted Christ in his life at an early and was a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church for 54 years. He loved his family and loved to care for them whenever he could. He loved to babysit children and you would definitely feel secure leaving your child with him because he would make sure they were well taken care of. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and the strong love he had for others.
On April 13, 2020, God saw fit to call Donny from labor to reward. He will be greeted at Heaven's gates by his grandparents, Adell Driver, Bob Driver, Linnie Hill, Pete Hill; step-grandmother Corrine Hill; aunts Lou Propes and uncles Isaiah and Joshua Bonds.
Those left to cherish his fond and loving memories are, his mother Leacie "Mae" Hill of Wylie, TX.; father Billy Ray Hill (Ester) of Garland, TX.; two daughters: Brittany and Whitney Hill both of Allen, TX.; five grandchildren: Dej'ah and Ki'Anna Griffin, Xavier and Christopher "CJ" Caldwell and De~Shun Gist all of Allen, TX.; half-sister: Juanita Hill of Dallas, TX.; step-brothers Dennis Crosby and Chris Hill both of Garland, TX.; step-sisters Lisa Judy and Karen "Kitty" King both of Garland, TX.; Godbrothers: Andre "Binky" and Gregory Gilstrap both of Wylie, TX. He also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends .
