Dorothy Mae Palmer was born October 10, 1959 in McKinney,
Texas.
Dorothy was born to the late Vidas and Joe Willis Palmer. She
attended school in McKinney, Texas and graduated from
McKinney High School.
Dorothy was an amazing woman who was loved beyond measure.
She was hardworking, nurturing, loving and caring. She would
always bring light and joy to every room she entered. She was the
life of the party; our ray of sunshine. If you ever met Dorothy,
your life was changed forever. She never met a person that she
didn't like. Her personality was contagious, and she left an imprint on everyone she encountered.
Dorothy will be fondly remembered for her big, gorgeous smile,
sense of humor, laughter and feisty attitude. She will always be
honored, cherished and missed by those knew and who loved her.
Dorothy departed this life on Saturday, May 13, 2023. She was
preceded in death by her parents Vidas and Joe Willis Palmer;
daughter Patra Palmer; Mattie Bell Palmer and Dennis Palmer, Sr.
Dorothy leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter
Yvette Palmer; beloved son Damon Palmer; grandchildren Kiara
Griffin, Johniesha Dozier, Jaliyah Thomas, Ma'Kaya Titus,
Demotrey Griffin, Kevin Brown; great grandchildren Malachi
Griffin and Jedediah Dozier; sister Brenda Palmer and a host of
other relatives and friends.
