Dwight Edward Scott

Dwight Scott was born June 18, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to the parentage of Mable Scott Lockley & the
late Stone Edward Johnson. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force, where he served as an
Administrative Specialist.
He heard the voice of his Heavenly Father on September 17th, 2023, and peacefully answered the
call.
Dwight grew up in Dalworth, Texas and attended High School at Sam Houston High in Arlington,
Texas, where he excelled in Football and graduated in 1974. He went on to attend El Centro College
in Dallas, Texas. He later joined the United States Air Force in 1975 as an Administration Specialist.
Dwight was given an Honorable Discharge from the United States Air Force some years later.
Dwight was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life Twyna Moultrie Scott on February 19th,
1994, where they were looking forward to celebrating their 30th year wedding anniversary.
In his early Christian life, Dwight attended Morning Star Baptist Church – Grand Prairie and later
became a member of the Potter's House - Dallas.
Dwight was brilliant in his on right and nothing short of a mathematician!
Preceding him in death was his father Stone Edward Johnson.
Dwight's life, legacy and love is honored by his Wife Twyna Moultrie Scott; his Daughter Chandrika
(Lawrence); Mother Mable Scott Lockley; Sisters Carla, Pam (Howard); His Grand Daughters
Kennedy and Marley; Nephew Jackson and a host of relatives and friends.
