Obituary

On September 20, 2023 Mother Earnestine Pickron transitioned to her
Heavenly home. Preferring to be behind the scenes she touched so many
lives through her charitable work and love for humanity.

Mother Pickron was born October 18, 1941 to the parents of J.D.
Waddleton and Carrie Waddleton in Royse City, Texas. She was preceded
in death by her parents and grandson Nicholas Ryan Pickron.

Mother Pickron was not a stranger to hard work. In fact, while tending the
crops in the field she would meet her future husband at the tender age of
six. She would later marry her childhood sweetheart in 1959.

Earnestine and Jaylee Pickron would go on to have four children: Carolyn
Woods (Aaron), Jaylee Pickron Jr. (Linda) Clinton Pickron (Peggy) and
Deborah Pickron. She was a proud grandmother of four grandchildren:
Nicholas Ryan Pickron, Tony Hillary, Kishae Hillary and Isaiah Coleman.
Lastly, she adored her great granddaughter Summer Hillary. Mother
Earnestine is survived by her devoted husband Jaylee Pickron Sr. of 63
years; four children; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; a host of
relatives and friends; and a host of siblings which include: Maudie Pickron
of TX; Bennie Waddleton (Merlene) of KY; J.C Waddleton (Gloria) of TX;
Maxine Johnson (TX) Melvin Waddleton (Carolyn) of TX; Wilmer
Waddleton (TX); Betty Edwards (AZ); Curtis Williams (AZ).

Mother Pickron Accepted Christ at an early age and worked faithfully in
the Church. She served as an active secretary of El-Bethel Church of God
in Christ under the leadership of the late Pastor James W. McCrary Sr. and
would continue her tenure under the leadership of his son Superintendent
Anthony V. McCrary Sr. in what was to become Greater El-Bethel Church
of God in Christ. Mother Pickron was an anointed Holy Ghost filled prayer
warrior dedicated to this ministry for over fifty years. She played a vital
role in the building and construction of the Greater El- Bethel Church
Building. In fact, because of her favor with the city and her spirit of
excellence while serving to complete each task she was given the nickname
"Boss Lady" by the Superintendent Anthony V. McCrary Sr.

Mother Pickron served as the President of the Benevolent Fund Committee
in Greater El-Bethel C.O.G.I.C . With the funds raise through her bake
sales, she was able to feed, clothe and render financial assistance to those in
need. Mother Pickron was also known for her entrepreneurship and
embarked on several business opportunities such as: a commercial
cleaning company; Shorty's BBQ; Pick the Pro's building and Construction
and her latest P&P landscape and firewood. Mother Pickron will forever be
remembered for her humbleness and as a pillar within this community. She
was the epitome of Love and exemplified what it is to be a woman of God.
