Ms. Easter Kaye Bailey was born in East Texas on April 5, 1953, to the parents of Ida Mae Bailey and Eligra Charles Bailey along with four siblings: Joseph, Norman Lynn, Christopher Ann, and Rita.

The family settled in Grand Prairie, Texas during the 1960s. She later had her first and only child in October of 1975. Later she met the love of her life, Mr. Bennie Lee Poole, who helped her raise her daughter and her five grandchildren until his passing in 2016.

On September 3, 2019, Easter was called home to be with the Lord. She will be welcomed at Heaven's Gates by her parents Ida and Eligra Bailey, her brother Norman Bailey and her life partner Mr. Bennie Poole.

She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories, daughter Carmina C. Strange; five grandchildren: Reukavia, Shakira, Tekaitiz, Klatrice, and Dkote; one great-grandson: Amare Zyir and a host of other relatives and friends.
