Obituary
Elder Nathaniel Luellen, Jr. was born in Lamar County Texas on February 24 th 1944 to Nathaniel Sr. and Myrtle Luellen.
He graduated from Melrose High School in 1962. He also attended Technical Institute in Memphis, TN and Olive Harvey College in Chicago, Illinois .
He served our country in the US Navy for many years. He was employed by Texas Instruments for 29 years as an R & M Plumber where he retired in 2009. He also worked for Concepts Facilities until his health failed.
He met and married Ester Davis in 2008. The love they shared was indescribable. They loved each other and the Lord Jesus Christ. Elder Nate also loved bowling, fishing, horseback riding, barbecuing and being the "Best PaPa" ever.
He was a member of Praise Temple Christian Fellowship Church where he served faithfully as Elder, President of the Brotherhood, Chief Finance Officer, and Sunday School Teacher under the leadership of Pastor D. R. Young.
He is preceded in death by his parents Nathaniel, Sr. & Myrtle Luellen.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ester Luellen; children: Tonya Luellen, Carol McKinnon of Memphis, TN, Nate Jr., Nikkola Lewis and Nakia Lewis both of Chicago, IL, Cassaundra Luellen of Garland, TX; step-children: Greg Moreland and Tamara Moreland; brothers: Jerry Luellen and Lorenzo Luellen; sisters: Mary Luellen and Bernice Luellen all of Memphis, TN; aunt Sallie Kimbrough of Ashland, Miss, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and other relatives and many friends.Services
