Elizabeth Traylor departed from this earth on July 6, 2025, sur-rounded by her family and loved ones. Elizabeth was born on March 6, 1953, to the parentage of Maxine Traylor and Willie Traylor.

Elizabeth grew up in Dallas, Texas and attended school in the Dallas Independent School District.

Elizabeth worked in Housekeeping for approximately 15 years at the Regency Hotel in Dallas, TX. She later became employed with the Salvation Army and the Dallas Independent School District.

Liz, as she was affectionately known, was a devoted mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend who enjoyed cooking, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. She was known for her kind, giving and compassionate heart. Liz never met a stranger; and was always eager to offer a meal, a kind word, a helping hand or her home to those in need.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Maxine Traylor Lee and Willie Traylor; four sisters, May Tate, Lynn Traylor, Barbara Ann Traylor and Margaret Traylor.

Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memory, her three devoted children, Vickie (Derrick) Johnson, Victor B. Traylor, and Nickey J. Traylor; two Goddaughters, Rolunda Samuels Peoples (Johnny) and Adrian Simmons; thirteen grandchildren, QuanJanae Vinson, Ira Vinson, Breanna Johnson, Denicia Johnson, Javon Traylor, Victor K. Traylor, Kiannia Traylor, Keoma Brown, Nicholas Traylor, Nicole Traylor, Nickey Traylor and Derik Traylor; twenty-five great grandchildren; a sibling, Shelia Traylor; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Elizabeth's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have known her, and her love will continue to inspire us every day. She will be dearly missed.
