Ella Natt Hannon was born to the late Willie B. Natt on May 16, 1958, in Mangham, Louisiana.
In 1976, Ella graduated from Mangham High School and later received her B.A. degree from
Northeast Louisiana University in Radio TV Broadcasting.
In November of 1988, she married the love of her life, John Edgar Hannon.
Following the Christian leadership of her mother, Ella accepted Christ at an early age and
attended Full Gospel Holy Temple in Dallas for over 40 years. She was a faithful member and
proudly served in the media ministry as well as the arts and crafts committee.
For many years, Ella worked for the Mercedes Benz Corporation and retired in 2023. In 2012,
she co-founded HJK The Tax Professionals.
Ella was affectionately known by close loved ones as "Mae-Mae." She had a passion for
helping people. Never one to shy away from candid conversations, Ella often shared spirited
insights to spark thought and sometimes debate. A masterful storyteller, with strong
convictions about faith, family, and community, Ella wanted the best for the people she loved
and cherished.
Ella is proceeded in death by her husband John Hannon, three siblings Johnny Lee Natt, John
Henry Natt and Edna Natt.
Ella leaves to cherish her memories, loving stepdaughter, Ariel Lee; son-in-law, Devon Lee;
grandchildren, Kaleigh and Kristonius Lee, Jr.; special sister, Catherine Natt; brother, Charles
E. Natt (Sharon); sisters-in-law, Dora Natt and Mary Natt; the Natt Family, the Hannon Family,
Donna Lathan; special friends, Ruthie Miley, Rhonda Humphrey, Deborah Jackson, and Kim
Smith; special nephews, Adrion and Deonte Natt with special nieces, Jasmine and Janae Smith;
Goddaughter, Carkinda Harris; Godson, Winston Humphrey; and a host of beloved nephews,
nieces, cousins and friends.
