IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ericka N.
Wright
May 13, 1982 – July 24, 2024
Erika Nicole Wright was born on May 13, 1982, to Mrs. Frances "Poochie" Smith and Willie Charles "Chillie" Wright in Garland, Texas.
She was a devout believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and was notable Humanitarian in all her assignment, jobs and endeavors including Health Care Taking of close family members and friends. Taking care of others and including pets was something that came naturally for Erika. She had a soft spot for the Elderly and anyone who were downtrodden or needed some type of assistance. She was walking and talking on Google. She loved to assist by finding resources and even offered to give rides to appointments, to get meals to those who were in need, and even share her monetary funds if she had them available.
Erika was very excited as she had studied expeditiously and had earned a license to sell insurance to help people get good rates on (life, auto and homes). She even furthered her entrepreneurship qualities by gaining another license to assist with Medicaid & Medicare. As this was her purposeful passion by helping others get what they need, and when they need it.
Those who knew her in that manner will surely miss her deeply and forever cherish those memories of her sweet smile and kindness. She indeed did help many and did not go as far as complain or speak out whenever she herself needed things.
Erika is preceded in death by her father, Willie Charles "Chillie" Wright.
Erika leaves to cherish lasting memories: her loving mother, Frances "Poochie" Smith; two sisters, La Shaunda Teniola Ayeni and Tamela Jessie; four nieces whom she grew up with, La Shawn Smith, Makala Wright, Morrisha Jessie and Madisen Jessie; two nephews she helped care for, TaSheem Dickson and LaDarius Drew; two great-nephews and one great-niece, Atlas Smith, Apollo Smith and Ms. Bobbie Rose; several other extended family members; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, wonderful friends and loved ones.
Erika was a loving daughter and sister. She was a loyal friend, selfless, and kindhearted. Erika will never be forgotten but forever remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
